Mode of Action:
• Copper reacts with fungal spore secretions (hydroxyl and amino acids), forming toxic soluble copper complexes that directly attack the fungi.
• Sulfur vaporizes, allowing it to act over long distances; the vapor interacts with spores to produce Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S), the active toxic compound.
• The chelation of copper on low molecular weight carboxylic acids enhances nutrient penetration through stomata, leaving no residue on leaf surfaces.
• Organic acids improve plant recognition and uptake of the elements, resulting in faster action.
